A lot of people are asking “What can we do?” during this time of unprecedented drought and bushfires.
Our region has been extraordinary in its response to this emergency. From the gruelling and dangerous work on the fire lines to the outpouring of support and generosity from our local communities. Many have donated to the the RFS, Red Cross and many more.
One very powerful thing you can do is to write to your local member. I’ve spent a lot of time recently out amongst the communities in the electorate affected by the fires. Part of my job is to pass on any information or needs of the community or constituents to the relevant powers or organisations. To get things done.
So if you are feeling you want to make things better or help in some way, if you have an idea which you think can make a difference, then please take the time to write to me about the issues you think are important right now.
I’m here to listen and to make sure your requests and feedback are heard by the right people.
I’ve put together a feedback link to make this process quick and easy.
